HomePlug® Powerline Alliance to Share Recent News and Viewpoints at HomePlug European Executive Seminar 2007

Held in conjunction with Net-atHome 2007, the seminar will feature in-depth reports from HomePlug alliance officers

Nice, France November 13, 2007 Driving the worldwide acceptance of high-speed networking over power lines, the HomePlug Powerline Alliance today announced it is hosting
its 2007 European Executive Seminar on November 15, 2007, in conjunction with the Net-atHome 2007 event at the Boscolo Hotel in Nice, France.

"The European market has long played a vital role in the global adoption and success of HomePlug Powerline technology," said Matthew Theall from Intel Corporation, who also serves as president of the HomePlug Powerline Alliance. "All of HomePlug's international seminars have been incredibly successful over the past several years. Among the topics discussed at this year's European Executive Seminar are the latest trends in powerline communications, the HomePlug Alliance's suite of standards (Command & Control, BPL, 1.0 and AV), real-world deployments of HomePlug technologies, performance review of European test data, and compliance and interoperability.

The conference will feature expert speakers and panelists from a variety of industries who will explain how their companies are employing HomePlug technology for use with consumer electronics, home networking, electric utility applications, and command and control applications. In the days preceding the seminar, the HomePlug Alliance will also showcase products from several international HomePlug member companies at Net-atHome 2007 in Nice, France (November 13 and 14).
